I offer this for those who wonder, which side of the fence I am on. I share much about social issues, political issues and economic issues. Since I am one who strongly believes there is a connection “with all things”…it goes beyond humans, one with another…and beyond the human species and all other species of which we share space…in the form of planet earth.

There should be one term in which we can summarize what “socio-politico-economic” realities represent as it’s own animal. “The Nature of the Beast” of capitalism is in fact, the one term that helps present the beginnings of understanding “the Universal Truth” of how we live our lives. Consumption will also be an inclusive term within the greater context of “captalism” …which can also take a title inclusive of “North American Lifestyle”.

WE have created what world we have today. Make no mistake about it, WE have all contributed in some way. The purchase of any product, say hairspray or cosmetic (that contains toxic materials)…and uses more water to remove…after our morning cleansing shower…holds the “double trouble” complexity to it. There is the “consumer purchase”, which includes the plastic packaging (and sometimes the flourocarbons or other harmful items that would not be introduced to the environment, had such a product not have a buyer…I trust you get my point) Water is wasted every day in production of product…in production of packaging…etc..etc…till you get to the end-user…and their need to alter what alterations were made earlier in the day. (evening washing of face and/or hair…the clothes that day will get a washing..or worse …dry-cleaning…more chemicals and more plastic)…So my point. Besides the Flourocarbons, the chemicals, the inhalation or absorbtion into skin and lung tissue (and blood and cells, and blood cells…so long immunity…hello cancer), there will be wasted natural (an non-renewable) resources. (I dare bring up the landfill, incineration or ocean or lake dumping which is unbelievablly HUGE…its a huge population, and more than North America is guilty).
You getting the drift? I am not the only one who wants to see the “Green Shift” be real…and really shift…not just make a few “solar engineers” or wind-farmers the new wealthy.

This link provided is the biggest point I wish to make. WE are all looking to “sources” for answers. The internet and media have been illuminating many ways to focus on getting greener and richer…and healthier. That is the “good news” about the “news media” in all its form.

I offer the link to illuminate one of the biggest threats behind the evolution of capitalism. WE all are putting our health, our life…and for some, their wealth at stake (BIG STAKES) for those that are the “end-product” of a medical mistake.

Further, few, very few have any knowledge or context to which to measure the HUGE ecological footprint of each and every Health Care Facility…I will stop there…there are books on the subject, everyone should read.

So this is the time to take more than a moment of reflection…
Please spend more than one day…on EARTH day.

This will be the beginning of the new EARTH day… the Acronym is Ecological Awareness Related To Health.

EARTH day…each day your eyes open…now open your “minds eye” and reflect on how you will choose to live from each moment, from each moment you “make it” a great EARTH Day.
